It’s Tuesday, and another hot day has settled into Old Town. Temperatures will start to cool off tonight, and tomorrow should be a good 15F cooler!

Weather permitting, Old Town Beaverton is a wonderful place to roam around. If you are able to walk distances, there’s plenty of hidden nooks, parks, benches, and shady spots to be found! Even if you are mobility challenged, there’s lots of quiet side streets to take in by car.

One thing that stands out along the major streets? Beaverton’s love for hanging baskets! Old Town proudly shows these off, with a myriad of spectrum colors erupting from the large hangers affixed to lamp posts.

We often think that the person watering the hanging baskets has one of the best jobs in town! Beautifying our community is an important task, and we appreciate their hard work, so you too can enjoy our district that much more!
