This website recognizes "Old Town Beaverton" as the district reaching from Canyon Road on the north, Cedar Hills Boulevard and Stott Avenue on the west, Lombard Avenue on the east, and 5th Street on the south. This includes many of the original homes in Beaverton at its beginning. For many businesses and community members working and living in this quaint, historic neighborhood, the area became colloquially known as “Old Town Beaverton”.
"Restaurant Row" is a term given to the dining district immediately found along 1st Street, near the intersection of Watson Avenue, It is a part of Old Town Beaverton.
The City of Beaverton lists on its website, a Downtown Walking Map. The map includes not only the BDA's pre-2024 focus area, but also Central Beaverton, blocks facing Hall Boulevard and east to the Beaverton Transit Center, and Beaverton High School blocks. Within that map is an icon highlighting Old Town. Old Town is a part of Downtown Beaverton, but stands on its own with a focused community of businesses and residents.
This website is primarily operated by David and Angela Anderson, co-owners of Syndicate Wine Bar. Numerous other businesses in the Old Town district have collaborated with ideas and contributions of content, focuses, and programs that collectively we feel need greater highlighting and advocacy.
